“Neither Here Nor There” originally appeared on the “Innature” CD compilation, issued by Barge Recordings in September of 2006 along with nine other artists (including Tim Hecker and Circle). Chronologically, it falls between MGR’s collaborative album with SirDSS (self-released on CD-R in 2006, reissued by Neurot in 2007) and 2007’s “Wavering on the Cresting Heft” full length album.

On this recording, Alap Momin (Oktopus) captures Mike Gallagher in a contemplative piece that rides the line between an undercurrent melody of tension and big, resonant, open chord progressions over the top, a modern take on perhaps the long ride out to a climactic pistol battle in the middle of the desert.

Never available in the digital realm prior, Pax Aeternum is thrilled to be issuing this on all platforms for the first time ever.
